We are having our first sewing workshop for beginners at Pippablue on Sunday the 9th May. This class is aimed at people who have sewing machines but don't know how to use them. We will be showing you the basics and making a reversible market bag, and hopefully give you the skills and the confidence to start sewing!
If you are interested in taking this class pop into the shop or contact us via e-mail. Spaces are limited, so we will take bookings on a first come first serve basis!
Other upcoming classes will include knitting aran cables, piecing together a knitted garment, hand piecing patchwork, and many more!
And one more thing! The Irish Patchwork Society's western branch is holding an exhibition at the Galway City Museum from Saturday 1st. May until Monday 31st May, so if your in town this weekend, why not head down to the Spanish Parade and check out the work of these very talented artists.
